It is powered by a single new 2008 Yanmar 115hp diesel engine with 585 hours and features a Northern Lights generator with 986 hours (new 2006).
Additional features include a bow thruster, solid fiberglass hull (1-inch thick below the waterline), full Scheel keel with 17,000 ballast, and new bottom paint in August 2010. It is also equipped with two air conditioning units and upgraded electronics since 2006, including a Northstar 952x GPS and Icom ic-m422 VHF. Other electronics include a sat phone, b&g Hercules 2000 wind/speed/depth displays with 13 available readings, and a 2-degree Danforth constellation compass. The boat offers sleeping accommodations for 4-8+ adults in 2 staterooms with 2 ensuite heads, a pilot berth, and settees in the aft stateroom and main salon.
The galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator (updated in 2008), freezer, stove with oven, and microwave. The proven sailing capability and equipment of this classic schooner are unmatched. It was built by Lee Cherubini, son of the renowned designer John Cherubini. The sleek black hull’s lines are elegant and highly admired in the yachting community.
