ArtCat 46 LPH A Stunning new 21’st century design emphasizing Luxury and Comfort – with a Green Option. The new look highlights the forward thinking of this breakthrough Catamaran. L luxury, P power, H Hybrid; all stylishly combined. The ArtCat 46 brings a new level of luxury and speed, while offering the opportunity to cruise silently under diesel-electric Hybrid power for relaxed pleasure and utmost fuel economy. The Yacht has very elegant and light-weight hulls designed for minimum resistance. The shallow draft hulls feature aggressive wave-piercer bows. The bows increase waterline length and efficiency while causing far less pitching as they slice cleanly through waves. This results in a very smooth ride without pounding or slamming. She is Awlgripped then polished to a Nano-Gloss. ArtCat is decked with beautiful new age (and Maintenance free) Esthec composite decking in a slate grey color. Stepping aboard one first encounters a large protected cockpit which blends seamlessly into the salon through very large folding doors. To Port, the wide stairs lead to the inviting (seats 10) Flying bridge. This is the fine weather center of daytime activities with a drinks fridge, cocktail table, two sunpads and all the steering and control functions. Notable also among the deck features are the concealed Hot-Tub in the Port Bow and the, electrically lifting, swim platform/dinghy storage. Sunbathing pads are located forward and on the bridge. All deck hatches are recessed for a totally flush deck. Entering the salon one is struck by the elegant space and decor, dark Wenge cabinetry, muted light creme wall coverings, finest Italian leather upholstery, high tech multi-hue lighting, and the gracious ambiance only expert interior design can achieve. The salon has three areas and many functions, Galley, Interior Helm, and dining/cocktail area. The helm has beautiful custom instrument displays mounted on a Burl Walnut dash. The galley features built-in Espresso machine and Wine Cellar, as well as the normal Sink, Stove and Fridge units. Generous storage is both overhead and in nearby cabinets. Opposite the large L shaped sofa you will find two very comfortable lounge chairs. They are moveable allowing flexibility to suit the need, you can make a little private corner ,move them to the cockpit, pull them up to the helmstation to accompany the skipper, even pull them together to form a single bed. Completing the view, the windshield is a work of art, being seamless and without interruption for a beautiful panorama. There are three layouts ranging from twin master suites to three cabin versions. The owner’s version has a Spa with stem jet option adjacent to the shower. Spa-seats are covered with beautiful glass-mosaic tiles by Bisazza, they are also electrically heated. Before going in, you press the button and the seats will heat up. They are also slightly reclined so you can really relax. In the owner’s bedroom are three panoramic windows and a large hatch, in bed one can see the sky and the sea. The shower is also special with LED lighting, Rain forest shower head and opposing panels of pressurized water jets with massage functions. The Port/ Guest hull may have two double cabins and a central head or a similar arrangement to starboard (without the spa). Power is composed of five separate units; twin 280 hp. 6-cyl. Steyr Marine Diesels capable of exceeding 30 knots, Twin 9 KW electric motors which can reach 9 knots, or cruise silently at only 7 liters per hour all day with the advanced Generator cycling to recharge as necessary.
